1. LIMITATIONS OF HELMETS

A helmet will not protect you from injury in every type of accident. Even when wearing a helmet, low-speed accidents can still result in serious head injuries or fatalities.

A helmet provides partial or full protection. Studies have shown that you are safer when wearing a helmet. However, a helmet may not prevent spinal or neck injuries.

⚠️ WARNING:

  • No helmet can protect the wearer from all impacts.
  • We recommend choosing a helmet with the highest coverage.
  • Wearing a helmet correctly enhances its protective ability and reduces potential injuries.
  • Ensure the helmet fits your head properly and is always securely fastened while in use.
  • Any helmet that has been involved in an impact must be replaced, even if there are no visible damages.
  • Do not modify the original structure of the helmet or use a damaged helmet.
  • To ensure hygiene and safety, the helmet liner should be cleaned regularly. Replace the liner every 6 months to 1 year or sooner if there are signs of wear.

2. HELMETS AND USAGE GUIGE

Helmets are designed to reduce head injuries. To perform this function, the helmet must fit properly, be worn correctly, and be securely fastened.

This manual contains important information regarding safety, fit, adjustments, and maintenance. Read the user instructions and warnings carefully before using the helmet for riding.

⚠️ WARNING:

  • The manual and labels inside the helmet contain various instructions and warnings. Please read them carefully before use. For any inquiries, contact our retailers or hotline.
  • Do not reuse a helmet that has experienced an impact, as it may have reduced protective capabilities. In such cases, the helmet should be inspected and replaced.

3. SAFE HELMET WEARING INSTRUCTIONS

Our helmets come in various styles and sizes designed to fit most people. However, choose a helmet that fits snugly—neither too tight nor too loose.

⚠️ WARNING:

  • For maximum protection, ensure your helmet is worn correctly. If your helmet does not fit properly, exchange it for the correct size at our retail stores.
  • All fitting and adjustment instructions should be followed when the helmet is in position. Failure to do so may cause the helmet to shift or come off during an accident.

How to properly wear an open-face or half-face helmet:

  • Position the helmet level on your head, about two fingers above your eyebrows.
  • Ensure the straps are evenly tensioned, not twisted, and fit securely.
  • Fasten the safety buckle, ensuring the strap rests against your throat and fits comfortably around both ears.
  • Adjust the size dial clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen.

Note: For helmets with visors, lift the visor before putting on the helmet and follow the above steps.

How to properly wear a full-face helmet:

  • Lift the visor and position the helmet over your head from back to front.
  • Pull the sides of the helmet outward and slide it onto your head.
  • Fasten the safety buckle, ensuring the strap rests against your throat and fits comfortably.
  • Lower the visor after completing the above steps.

Note: Use a measuring tape to determine your head circumference (across the forehead and nape) and compare it with the size chart to choose a properly fitting helmet.

⚠️ WARNING:

  • To ensure full helmet functionality, wear it correctly and secure the chin strap firmly against your throat.
  • Adjust the strap tension so that it fits snugly but remains comfortable by pulling the strap end through the buckle to tighten or loosen as needed.
  • Always wear the helmet with the chin strap fastened and tightened against your throat.
  • The helmet is equipped with an adjustment system to stabilize it in place while riding.

4. CHECKING HELMET FITMENT

When adjusted correctly, the helmet should surround your head and fit snugly with firm but comfortable pressure.

After securing the safety buckle, perform the following checks to ensure a proper fit:

  • Hold the helmet with both hands and rotate it left and right. If the helmet moves easily, tighten the adjustment dial at the back and adjust the chin strap.
  • Move the helmet forward and backward to check fitment. If it shifts and obstructs your vision, readjust the chin strap and the rear adjustment dial.

⚠️ WARNING:

  • To maximize protection, the helmet must be worn properly, fit securely, and have the safety buckle fastened as instructed.
  • Always fasten the helmet securely when riding to prevent it from falling off during travel or accidents.
  • Regularly check the fit and make necessary adjustments before each use.

5. HELMET CLEANING GUIDE

Use only water, mild soap, and a soft cloth to clean the helmet shell, visor, and liner. Helmets can be damaged by exposure to harsh chemicals or certain solvents.

⚠️ WARNING:

  • The helmet’s protective ability diminishes over time due to various factors such as improper storage, heat exposure, contact with hazardous chemicals, or prolonged sunlight exposure.
  • The lifespan of a helmet may be less than 2-3 years due to sunlight exposure or improper storage. We recommend replacing the helmet after 2-3 years.

6. EMERGENCY RELEASE SYSTEM FOR FULL-FACE HELMETS

The emergency release system (Fast Release System) is integrated into the liner of some premium full-face helmets. It is designed to allow quick and safe helmet removal in emergency situations via internal pull-tabs.

Emergency removal steps for full-face helmets:

  • Assess the surrounding situation, open the visor, and unfasten the chin strap.
  • Firmly pull the emergency release tabs on both sides to detach the inner liner.
  • Once the liner is released, carefully lift the helmet off the head.
  • Check the injured person’s condition.

⚠️ WARNING:

  • Seek assistance or call emergency services in urgent situations.
  • Only use the emergency release system in true emergencies; avoid unnecessary use.
  • Practice using the emergency release system beforehand.
